Arctic tern, Sterna paradisaea, in flight, Hall Beach, Nunavut, Canadian High Arctic. The birds have the longest known migration of any bird, flying between their Arctic summer breeding grounds and the other end of the planet in Antarctica, where they overwinter, experiencing two summers a year.
