My husband works 40+hrs a week. I work PT, and go to school. We have 3 children. Our oldest has multiple disabilities. Our BCBS insurance has a $2,500 deduct. We can’t afford to take our kids to the dr, unless it’s an EMERGENCY. My mother (A nurse for over 30 years) has recently been laid off. Unable to find a job, she will have to move in with us. We can barely pay our bills. We haven’t been able to even turn the heat on due to the high energy costs. We don’t qualify for ANY gov’t assit. We are hard working, middle class Americans. We are fearful that we won’t be able to have many presents under the tree this year for our children… what are we going to do??? WE ARE THE 99%.
